The room was generous sized & fully-equipped with the bathroom and all facilities, as for instance. The location of the hotel was lovely, in nice beer garden. The staff was extremely friendly.

it's comfortable place to stay 3 km away from horton tower. the rooms are great-sized and freshly decorated with a very comfortable four poster bed, everything is exceptional. this place is in a particularly good location in the restaurant rib-eye steak.

The room was spacious and featured a generous tea and coffee selection, including biscuits, a nice touch. I faced issues with heating. The radiators were cold upon arrival, and despite requests for assistance, it took too long to resolve. Breakfast was decent, but it was surprising to see other guests sharing similar complaints about the cold atmosphere. The stay left much to be desired in terms of comfort and service responsiveness.

The room felt small for the cost!!! An extension lead trailing across the entrance to the bathroom could be a tripping hazard in the dark. More plug sockets would improve convenience!!!

Navigating those two flights of stairs can be a struggle, especially with heavy bags or mobility issues. The single bathroom per gender could bring long waits during busy times. A bath-only setup limits options for quick showers. Better bathroom furniture could enhance convenience. Some corners of the building feel a touch neglected, needing an update, particularly in bathrooms where fixtures show wear. Extra plugs near beds would cater to modern charging needs, enabling a more comfortable stay for tech-savvy visitors.

Just a well-suited match for a quick stopover in Horton with fantastic value for money. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with plenty of toast and tea. Try to book a room on the ground floor if you have mobility issues.

Be sure to request extra soft pillows if you need a more comfortable night's sleep.

Amazing hotel with great amenities like free Wi-Fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and friendly staff. They helped me with local taxi tips. I had a superb breakfast here. I'm coming back for a business trip.

The room was beautifully renovated with lovely new carpets and a bright, cheerful atmosphere. The staff were so kind and attentive.

I had a lovely meal at the inn, where the food was freshly cooked and delicious, making it a nice part of my stay, and being just a short 2 km stroll to Horton Tower gave me the chance to enjoy the scenery while soaking in some history during my city wanderings.
